Patna. Despite the threat of Corona and fear of Naxalites, the enthusiasm of the voters in the first phase of 71 seats was not even imagined. There was no surety of security in Naxalite affected areas, but going to booths surrounded by forests and hills was no less dangerous. In such a situation, the passion of the voters has to be taken for granted that there is no obstacle to protect democracy. Bekhouf came out of the house and cast his vote. Despite all-round threats, 53.54 per cent voting cannot be called low. It is also noteworthy that in the 2010 assembly elections, more votes were cast.
Magadh and Shahabad had 35 sensitive seats
In the first phase, 35 of the 71 seats in Magadh and Shahabad areas were considered sensitive by the Election Commission. Of these, four seats were very sensitive, where the danger was big, but the spirits of the youth and women were seen even more than that. The courage of the enthusiastic voters has led to a positive change in politics through the vote mechanism.
More than half the population and youth participation
Half the population and youth participation was highest. The voting percentage of Sasaram, Aurangabad and Gaya districts is showing that women and youth are not less than anyone. Long queues of half the population were also seen at the village booths. There was excitement since morning. Groups of youth were also flocking to polling booths.
Eight ministers are in the field, eyes of the country
Eight ministers were in the fray in the first phase. Apart from this, the fate of many VIPs was also at stake. In Imamganj, there is a clash between former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and former Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary. In Gaya, senior BJP leaders Prem Kumar and JDU’s Krishnanandan Verma in Jehanabad are in a tough fight. Apart from these, Shailesh Kumar from Jamalpur, Vijay Sinha from Lakhisarai, Santosh Nirala from Rajpur, Ramnarayan Mandal from Banka and Brajkishore Bind from Chainpur are also in the field. Dinara has an interesting contest between LJP candidate Rajendra Singh and JDU’s Jayakumar Singh. The truth of Chirag Paswan’s claim has also been revealed during this period.
