Gonda | In Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district, a priest was shot dead over a long-running property dispute. Police said that two people have been arrested in the case. The victim is Samrat Das, a priest at the Ram Janaki temple.
He was admitted to a local hospital but had to be referred to Lucknow for treatment. Doctors said that his condition was critical.
An FIR has been registered against four people.
Here the UP Congress tweeted, ‘There have been murders of sadhus in UP in the past. Police kill some murders as some of the murders, just suicide.
The UP Congress released a map and told about the killing of 20 sadhus.
