Meanwhile, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad on Sunday met the victim’s family and also demanded the government to provide Y-class security to the victim’s family. He said that this family is not safe here, I will take them home with me. On Monday, the chief of the Bhima Army can approach the court to keep the victim family at his home. The information of the family members is being collected. According to the information so far, the victims will appeal to the court to keep all the family members with them. Including parents, grandmother, brother and others of the victim girl.
On Sunday, Chandrasekhar had said that the matter should be investigated by a retired judge of the Supreme Court and the victim’s family should be given Y category protection. However the Uttar Pradesh government has recommended a CBI inquiry into the matter.
In fact, a 19-year-old Dalit girl was gang-raped in Hathras, who later died in Delhi hospital during treatment.
