Lucknow. The death of crusher businessman Indrakant Tripathi in Mahoba may not have proved to be a murder, but a special investigation team (SIT) investigation has revealed a serious case of corruption by creating syndicates from the then SP Manilal Patidar to other policemen.
Not one or two, 10 to 12 cases have been reported in which the police tried to implicate innocents in false cases. Sources said that the investigation of SIT led by IG Varanasi Vijay Singh Meena has confirmed many such serious allegations, while some complaints have scope for further investigation.
The SIT Syndicate constituted to investigate the Mahoba case will submit a separate investigation report to the DGP of conspiracy to commit corruption and implicate people in fake cases, in which harsh departmental action was taken against about 40 policemen including the then SP Manilal Patidar of Mahoba. Preparation to be recommended.
The SIT set up for the Mahoba firing on the instructions of DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has also found many serious facts during the investigation. The role of suspended SP Manilal Patidar to CO, SO and other policemen in such complaints is doubtful.
Police conspired to implicate in fake cases
The SIT has examined the complaints of about 12 such victims, ranging from attempt to murder to charges of forgery in other serious sections. Investigations found that the police conspired to implicate many people in fake cases. Police officers and personnel who are engrossed in corruption will soon be exposed. IG Vijay Singh Meena says that the SIT has completed its investigation. The report will soon be handed over to the DGP headquarters.
Merchant Indrakant was shot by his own pistol
Crusher businessman Indrakant Tripathi was shot with his pistol in Kabarai, Mahoba. After a seven-day investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), ADG Prayagraj Premprakash on Friday crowned the case with this claim. The then SP denied the allegations
On September 7, the then SP denied the allegations and called Indrakant a gambling betting trader. It was said that he acts as an illegal explosive under the cover of the magazine. A case was registered at Kabrai police station. A video went viral on September 8, showing the businessman gambling. The ADG said that Indrakant was seen in the injured state in his car by Ravindra Srivas and Ankush Prajapati, children of village Baghwa Khoda, near the spot and informed the villagers. Arjuna took Indrakant to the hospital while informing Indrakant’s partner Balkishore alias Ballu Maharaj.

Subsequently SP, then SHO Kabrai Devendra Shukla, Indrakant’s partner Suresh Soni, Brahmadatta and others were booked for murder.
SIT reached such conclusion
The post-mortem report did not include explicit comment about bullet penetration and exit wounds. After investigation, it was found that the cartridge and khokha recovered from the car belonged to Indrakant’s pistol.
