new Delhi . The Supreme Court on Wednesday said that the central and state governments should provide correct information on CCTV cameras installed in police stations, as the right to citizens is a fundamental right under Article 21 of the Constitution.
A bench of Justices Rohinton Fali Nariman, Naveen Sinha and Indira Banerjee said, “In light of our order passed on April 3, 2018 in the 2017 SLP (CRL) 2302 case, we want to know the actual status of CCTV cameras and surveillance committees in police stations.” Huh.”
