Jammu. In Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Friday, Pakistan again fired heavily on Indian targets along the Border Line (LoC). Defense Ministry spokesman Colonel Devender Anand said, “Pakistan violated the ceasefire at eight thirty in the morning without any provocation.” Pakistan opened fire on Indian targets near LoC in Mankot sector of Poonch district. The Indian Army also gave a strong reply to Pakistan.
On Thursday too, Pakistan violated ceasefire at many places in Poonch itself. This year 24 Indian nationals have died and more than 100 Indian nationals have been injured in ceasefire violations. Pakistan has violated ceasefire 2,730 times since January. People in the border villages are facing heavy problems.
