Washington US President Donald Trump has been nominated for next year’s Nobel Peace Prize. The decision has been taken in view of Trump’s key role in the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the report, Trump’s nominee for the prestigious award has been nominated by the Norwegian Parliament’s ultra-conservative MP Christian Tybring Gazed, who praised Trump for his efforts to resolve conflicts around the world.
A tybring gazette who nominated Trump in 2018 for a meeting with Kim Jong-un in Singapore claims not to be associated with the US president.
Claiming not to be a Trump supporter, Gazade told One News, “Looking at his qualifications, I think he has made more efforts to make peace between nations than most other peace prize nominees.”
He said, “Those who have received the Peace Prize in recent years have done far less work than Donald Trump. Barack Obama, for example, has done nothing.”
Four-time MP from the Progress Party of Norway and NATO Parliamentary Assembly chairman Christian Tybring Gazed said the Trump administration deserved to be honored for its role in establishing relations between the UAE and Israel.
