Sawant used to buy drugs like Miranda
A senior NCB official said Sawant would be produced in the local esplanade court at 11 am on Sunday. Like Samuel Miranda, he used to buy drugs. The agency arrested Riya Chakraborty’s brother Shouvik Chakraborty and Sushant’s manager Samuel Miranda on Friday. Out of the seven arrested, three Shouvik, Miranda and Zaid Vilatra are in NCB custody.
No drugs were recovered from NCB by Shouvik and Samuel
Although NCB has not recovered narcotics from Shouvik and Samuel, the earlier WhatsApp chats and the use of credit cards to buy drugs have given NCB several important evidence against them. There is also talk of NCB getting number of many Bollywood celebrities from Shovik’s laptop and mobile. These can be investigated in future. The NCB has also written in its remand application that it is investigating the angle of drugs in Sushant Singh Rajput case. Many known and unintentional names that have come up in this case have to be questioned so that the case can be reached.
Miranda reportedly used to buy drugs on Shouvik’s instructions.
When the investigation of the case began, the agency arrested two men, Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora, for alleged drug peddling and the authorities claimed that through them they reached Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar, who were allegedly Was directly related to this drugs case.
