New Delhi Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday welcomed the decision of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to start service to the people in a phased manner from September 7. Kejriwal said, “I am happy that Metro has been allowed to start its services from September 7 in a phased manner.”
Earlier this month, the Chief Minister said that the metro should restore service on the basis of experiment.
According to DMRC Executive Director (Corporate Communications) Anuj Dayal, “As per the latest guidelines issued under Unlock-4 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi Metro will resume its services publicly from September 7”.
