Dubai. Pakistani batsman Shaan Masood and England all-rounder Chris Woakes have gained in the latest ICC rankings after the completion of the Manchester Test. England defeated Pakistan by three wickets in this match. Masood, who scored 156 runs in the first innings, jumped 14 places to number 19 in the rankings of batsmen. These are the best rankings in Masood’s career. He is the second Pakistani batsman to reach the highest ranking after Babar Azam. Azam is at number six.
Vox, who was the man of the match in the first Test, has jumped 18 places to number 78. Vokes had shared 139 runs for the sixth wicket with wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler, and had himself won England by playing an unbeaten innings of 84 runs.
Vox has reached number seven on the all-rounders’ list. Butler has moved up from 44th position to number 30.
In the bowlers’ list, Pakistan’s leg-spinners Yasir Shah and Shadab Khan have risen to number 22 and 69 respectively. England’s Stuart Broad remains at number three.
