In the Uttar Pradesh state capital Lucknow, about 50 media persons including others have been sent audio messages regarding the protest of Ram temple on Independence Day and demanding a separate nation for Muslims, leading to a case against some unknown chaotic elements Has been registered UP’s ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that a case has been registered under sections 505 (1) (b), 505 (2), 153A, 153B, 124A, 295 (A), 298, UAPA Act and IT Act.
The FIR was deliberately intended to offend treason, the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), the IT Act, religion, caste, place of birth, residence and language, use derogatory words against national unity, to hurt religious sentiments. Malicious acts and intentional religious feelings are recorded under harming.
“We have started investigation in the case and the culprits will be nabbed soon,” the ADG said.
This FIR has been filed on the basis of a complaint made by Sub-Inspector Mahesh Dutt Shukla.
Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey said that the cyber cell has been tasked to trace the messengers.
These audio messages have been sent from different numbers in different states of Malaysia, Canada and the United States.
The message was in the voice of a man who is heard urging people to protest against the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, saying that this is a step towards making the country a Hindu nation.
In the message, people belonging to a particular religion, on the lines of the Khalistan, are incited to demand a separate country for themselves.
Joint Commissioner of Police Crime Nilabja Chaudhary said, “The numbers from which the audio messages are sent all seem to be Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). They are being examined by experts. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) in our planning inquiry ) As well as help from UP ATS. ”
