Lucknow. A shocking development has come to light that 2,290 patients who were found to be Kovid-19 positive in the last nine days have given incorrect information of their names, addresses, contact numbers etc. to the Lucknow administration. These patients were examined between 23 and 31 July. The issue came to light when the administration tried to contact the patients for their Kovid-19 report.
The district administration has sought the help of the Surveillance Division of the state police in this matter. At the same time, 1,171 patients have been detected and admitted to the hospital. However 1,119 patients have still not been found and efforts are on to find out about them.
Due to giving false information about themselves to the administration, these people will also take legal action.
Lucknow Police Commissioner Sujit Pandey said, “Thousands of tests were conducted to break the chain of coronavirus infection. For this, people were camped at several places in Lucknow. In the meantime, some people gave their wrong names, addresses. And submitted contact numbers. We have detected 1,171 patients so far. Efforts are on to trace the remaining patients. ”
He added, “Now all the hospitals and laboratories that have been tested have been instructed to verify their information before taking the samples.”
On Sunday, 14 people died and 391 new cases were reported due to Kovid-19 in Lucknow.
According to the data released by the Health Department of Uttar Pradesh, the total number has increased to 92,921 after 3,953 new cases were reported in the state on Sunday. At the same time 1,730 people have died.
