Lucknow. Corona virus infection is becoming frightening in the state. Even after CM Yogi Adityanath’s plan to lockdown two days a week, its spread continues to grow. In the last 24 hours, 2250 positive cases have been reported in the state. The total infected now stands at 18256.
The report which has come in the state on Sunday is quite frightening. Even after a holiday of two days, the record of getting 2250 infected in a day i.e. 24 hours has been made in the state. This is the highest number of infections found in a day so far. Earlier, on July 16, 2083 were found infected. So far, 29845 people have recovered from the havoc of Corona, while 1146 people have died. There are now 18256 active cases in the state. In the last 24 hours, 392 new infections have been found in Lucknow, and with this, the total active cases in Lucknow have increased to 2509. Apart from Lucknow, 168 have been found in Kanpur, 125 in Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida), 104 in Jhansi and 100 in Prayagraj.
As many as 23070 were found in the state from March 6 to June 30, compared to 26294 in just 19 days in July. Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that the figure of the infected has reached 40497.
Former Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal Delhi Refer
Former Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal of Uttar Pradesh, admitted to Kovid Hospital in Bareilly, has been referred to Delhi for better treatment. His corona positive report came on 15 July. He has been sent to Max Hospital in Delhi. He was not satisfied with the treatment in Bareilly. After talking to the CMO and the district administration, he got himself referred to Delhi. Confirmation by CMO Dr. Vineet Kumar Shukla.
44123 samples have been investigated in the state on Saturday. So far, 14,70,426 samples have been investigated in the state. On Saturday, 3046 pools of five samples each and 323 pools of ten samples each were installed. Positivity was observed in 530 out of 3046 pools of five samples and 21 out of 323 pools of 10 samples. So far, 1,26,31,642 houses have been inundated in 30784 Containment Areas, which house 6,43,77,426 people.
Total lockdown of 20 in four police station area of Lucknow
In the capital Lucknow, due to the rapidly increasing infection of the corona virus, there will be total lockdown in the four police stations area from July 20. DM Abhishek Prakash informed that this total lockdown will remain in force till July 24. The highest infection of Corona in Lucknow is in Ghazipur, Indiranagar, Sarojini Nagar and Ashiana police stations area. Sarojninagar, Ghazipur, Indiranagar and Ashiana areas have been declared as Major Containment Zones by the District Magistrate. There will be a complete lockdown in the areas falling in the four police stations from 5 am to 24 July 24. All markets, markets, markets and commercial establishments will remain closed in these major content zones. All the necessary services will remain open in these four police stations. Vegetable, medicine and fruit shops will also be open. The District Magistrate has decided to increase the number of patients of Kovid 19 in these areas.
