Former Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati is extremely moved by Amethi’s mother-daughter’s attempts to self-immolate in front of the Chief Minister’s Office Lok Bhawan, in the safe and VIP area of the state capital Lucknow. The BSP chief, on a tweet on Saturday morning, demanded immediate action on the matter with the state government and demanded action against the careless officers.
Mayawati has said that the mother-daughter was forced to commit self-immolation in front of the CM office, Lok Bhawan in Lucknow, after the Amethi district administration did not get justice in the land dispute case. Government of Uttar Pradesh should take this incident seriously and give justice to the victim. Also, the state government should take strict action against all the careless officers so that such incidents do not happen again.
Significantly, there was no solution to the dispute of small drain in Amethi for a long time, a mother with her daughter moved to Lucknow on Friday. Amethi’s mother and daughter set themselves ablaze in front of Gate number three of Lok Bhavan (Chief Minister’s Office) on Friday evening after being attacked in the drain dispute and not getting justice again. The mother has scorched about 70 percent and the daughter 15 percent. Both of these are being treated in the civil hospital. During the incident, Tamashbeen kept making videos on mobile instead of helping. Late in the case, the Amethi SP suspended Inspector Ratan Singh, Beat Daroga and two constables of Jamo police station on charges of not taking action on the mother-daughter complaint.
The mother, who took this suicidal step, is a resident of Jamo police station area of Amethi and daughter Sofia. In the civil hospital, a mildly scorched Gudiya gave the reason for the entire sentence. He said that some miscreants in the village had beaten his mother and her publicly in a drain dispute. When Jamo reached the police station, the bullies came there too. He was driven out of the police station in front of the police. After this, an FIR was registered against the accused on the intervention of high officials. The police were overbearing after a complaint. We reached his house late at night and beat us both again with sticks. Gudiya said, they had no way left. Decided to die before the Lok Bhavan.
Police could not resolve the dispute in one and a half months
Alaghu Sahu and Sophia, a resident of Jamo Kotwali area of Amethi, had a dispute about a month and a half ago. There was also a fight on both sides. The police continued to do the paperwork. Algu’s son Arjun and Safia’s daughter are both employed as instructors in the upper primary school. DM Arun Kumar said that there was a dispute between the two sides regarding drainage in the land of the population. Both sides took preventive action on 16 May, the next date of which is on 21 July in the SDM court.
