new Delhi. In the midst of a political crisis in Rajasthan, the BJP today attacked the Congress with a press conference. The BJP has raised the demand for a CBI investigation in the tape scandal case which has been discussed in the politics of Rajasthan. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra, in a press conference, has strongly attacked the Congress and asked five serious questions to the Gehlot government and the Congress in that matter. The suspended Patra said that we are watching the political drama of the Congress in Rajasthan. It is a mixture of conspiracy, lies, fraud and how the law is acted upon. The political drama being played there is a mixture of this.
5 questions from BJP’s Gehlot government
Sambit Patra held a press conference and asked five sharp questions to the Gehlot government of Congress in Rajasthan. During this, he attacked the Gehlot government of Rajasthan in the case of tape.
First question- BJP asked Gehlot government first question whether phone tapping was done? The Congress government in Rajasthan should respond.
Second question – The second question that was asked by the BJP to the Congress is that is it not a sensitive and legal issue if the phone is tapped?
Third question- BJP’s spokesperson Sambit Patra from Congress asked the third question whether the SOP was followed assuming you tapped the phone?
Fourth question- BJP then asked Gehlot the fourth question whether the Congress government in Rajasthan used unconstitutional methods to protect itself?
Fifth question- The fifth and final question was asked by the BJP spokesperson concerned Gehlot government whether the phone of anyone related to politics is being tapped?
BJP raised demand for CBI inquiry
Sambit Patra further stated that phone tapping can only be done by authorized agencies to approve safe-guards and SOPs as per law and subject. Each case is reviewed by a committee headed by a cabinet secretary in the case of the central and state secretary in the case of a state government. Pending Patra also said that we demand a CBI inquiry into the matter. Whether the phone was taped or SOP followed. Is there an emergency in Rajasthan? Are all political parties being targeted in this way?
Sambit Patra also said that Rajasthan government was formed in 2018 and Ashok Gehlot became the Chief Minister, after that a cold war situation remained in the Congress Party government. Sambit Patra said that yesterday, Ashok Gehlot ji himself came in front of the media and said that there was no talk between the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister for 18 months.
‘Tape scandal’ in Rajasthan politics
Amid the ongoing political crisis in Rajasthan, a case was filed on Friday on behalf of Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi by a rebel MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma, Dalal Sanjay Jain and Gajendra Singh, accusing them of conspiring to topple the government.
Political violence erupted in Rajasthan over two alleged audio tapes that went viral on Thursday night. The Rajasthan Special Operations Group ([SOG)] made public the audio tapes in connection with the purchase of MLAs and attempts to topple the Ashok Gehlot government, Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Congress rebel MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma and businessman Sanjay Jain FIR registered against. A case was filed against him under the provisions of treason and horse trading. BJP leader Sanjay Jain has also been arrested by SOG.

The BJP also reached out to the police in this matter and lodged a complaint against Congress leaders including Congress national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala, accusing the BJP and its leaders of tarnishing the image.
