Kanpur. Amar Dubey’s newly married Khushi, who was killed in a police encounter after the Bikeru scandal, will be released from jail. Police will present evidence of his innocence in the court on Tuesday. The court may order him to be released in the case on Tuesday itself.
Amar Dubey, nephew of Vikas Dubey, named in the killing of eight policemen including CO in Bikeru was killed by STF on July 8 in Hamirpur. Amar was married to Khushi, a resident of Bharua, a village in Panki area on 29 June. Vikas Dubey arranged all the wedding arrangements at his home. According to the police, the marriage was forcible despite the protests of the girl. The police also sent newlyweds Khushi to jail along with her historyheater father Sanju Dubey after killing Amar in an encounter.
It was alleged that he instigated the attackers during the attack. The police had started criticizing this action. SSP Dinesh Kumar P said that everything happened in haste on wrong information. Vikas’s kinsman took his name. After the matter came to cognizance, no involvement of happiness has been found on the investigation. Section 169 will be filed in the police court on Tuesday. All operations have been completed on Monday.
Day spent waiting, release order did not come
On Monday, Amar Dubey’s wife Khushi kept asking the jail staff for the release order repeatedly. The food workers also asked if there was any paper related to it from the court, but the whole day was spent waiting. The report was to be sent by the Kanpur police to the jail on Monday. So she was restless since Monday morning. Jailor Kush Kumar said that no release order was received from the court till late evening.
