Rajasthan government to complete five-year term- Surjewala
The Congress-led Rajasthan government will complete its five-year term. The BJP and its allies need not be happy. Senior Congress leader and spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said this after arriving in Jaipur late on Sunday night.
Congress accused BJP
The Rajasthan Congress in-charge alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to destabilize the government. BJP is doing this in every state. We have seen this recently in Madhya Pradesh, but we will not let them do it here. Chief Minister Gehlot has accused the BJP of destabilizing the government. The BJP has denied these allegations.
What is dispute
The controversy erupted in Rajasthan after the Special Operations Group (SOG) sent a notice to Sachin Pilot to record a statement in the case filed by the SOG over alleged horse trading by Congress MLAs in the state. The clash between Gehlot and Pilot is also about the post of PCC (Pradesh Congress Committee) Chief. Gehlot Camp wants the ‘One Leader One Post’ formula to be implemented in Rajasthan. Currently, Sachin Pilot is the head of PCC in addition to the post of Deputy CM.
