new Delhi. A big statement by Union Minister and senior LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan has come to light amid the ongoing tussle between JDU and LJP in NDA in Bihar. Ram Vilas Paswan said that Chirag Paswan is the president of the party. He has the right to decide in the party. Whatever decision Chirag will take, we are with him. He said, “Now the party does not run on me either. The party runs according to its president and the chairman of the Parliamentary Board.” He also said, “My leader is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has done great things for the poor.”
Significantly, in the NDA alliance in Bihar, there is a strong rhetoric between JDU and LJP, which is directly affecting the alliance. On the one hand, Chirag Paswan, the national president of Lok Janshakti Party, is speaking out against CM Nitish’s policies and is trying to pressurize the seat sharing. On the other hand, JDU President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is neither reacting to this issue nor any assurance of seat sharing. But the other JDU leaders do not miss targeting the LJP chief.
