Patna. News giving relief to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is coming in the political corridor of Bihar. The possibility of the exit of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, convicted in the fodder scam, has increased. It is believed that he can get out of jail by October before the assembly elections. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav gave this indication during a RJD meeting on Thursday.
During a meeting called for election preparations, Tejashwi assured his leaders that the RJD chief was about to leave the jail. Lalu is already trying for bail. Lalu Yadav’s petition is also being heard in the Ranchi High Court. However, he is yet to get relief from the court. In the case in which he is jailed, half the sentence will be completed by October. This can become a strong basis for bail.
Let me tell you that Lalu had relaxed on parole at the time of his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav’s marriage. After the son’s marriage, he returned again for a set period of time. He has since undergone continuous treatment at RIMS. However, these days they are a little bit afraid about the Corona crisis. His family and supporters are also worried about him. However, doctors have said that there is nothing to worry about. They are completely fine and undergoing treatment.
It is worth mentioning that RJD supremo Lalu Yadav is convicted in the fodder scam case and is currently undergoing treatment at RIMS in Ranchi. He is also suffering from many diseases. Treatment for other diseases including BP, Sugar is underway. The petition filed for bail on their behalf is being heard time to time, but the bail has not been granted.
