Kargil There is news of earthquake in Ladakh’s Kargil. It measured 4.7 on the Richter scale. The earthquake occurred at 3.37 am. Its center was 433 km north-northwest of Kargil. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) gave this information. Earlier on Thursday, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake hit Kargil in Ladakh at 1.11 pm. There is no information of any kind of loss of life or property due to the earthquake at this time. Meanwhile, there was an earthquake in Katra in Jammu and Kashmir. Its intensity was 3.6.
Let us know that quite a few earthquake shocks are being felt in the country for some time. At 7.50 pm on Friday evening, tremors were felt once again in Delhi-NCA. Earthquake tremors were felt in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad, including Delhi. Its intensity was 4.5 on the Richter scale. The center was 63 km south-west of Gurugram.
Many times shocks in Jammu and Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, earthquake tremors have been felt continuously for a long time. The earthquake was felt twice a day on July 1 in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier on June 26, earthquake tremors were felt in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir’s Ladakh. According to a data from the NCS (National Center for Seismology), the epicenter of that earthquake was located 90 kilometers east of Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, the most recent tremors in the country were felt in Mizoram, Gujarat and Delhi.
Continuous earthquake tremors in Delhi-NCR too
Continuous earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR in the past. Talking about Delhi, some mild tremors have been felt here in the past. The NCS (National Center for Seismology) reported in the last days of last month that a total of 18 tremors have been felt so far in Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram in recent times. Of these, 8 came to Rohtak alone. All the recently recorded earthquakes in the Delhi-NCR region were of low to medium intensity.
