Financial assistance of one crore rupees will be given to the families of all eight police personnel. At the same time, one member of each family of the martyrs will be provided government service and the dependent will be given the benefit of extraordinary pension. He said that the martyrdom of police personnel will not be allowed to go in vain. No person convicted in this incident will be released. He will be punished severely and harshly within the purview of the law.

Eight policemen, including CO, martyred, attacked police team in Kanpur to capture history-sheeter
In Bikeru village of Choubepur, a police team that went to catch historyheater crook Vikas Dubey was attacked at midnight on Thursday. Police were fired from the roof of the houses, including CO Bilhore Devendra Mishra, three sub-inspectors and four soldiers were martyred. Seven policemen have been injured in the attack, who have been admitted to Regency Hospital in Kanpur Nagar. The condition of one policeman among the injured remains critical.
