new Delhi. Union Minister Prahlad Patel says that all the monuments in the country closed due to Corona virus infection can be opened from July 6. These monuments will be opened with all security arrangements. All monuments including Lal Qila, Taj Mahal under the Department of Archeology and Ministry of Culture can be opened.
The Archaeological Survey of India closed more than 3400 monuments to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus infection in India, but 820 shrines were later opened under ASI. From July 6, the rest of the monuments are also being considered. However, it is also being said that the state governments can take a decision on whether to open the memorial in view of Corona’s case. If the states have a problem opening the monuments for security, they can keep them closed.
By the way, in states like Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, cases of corona infection are increasing continuously. Everyday record cases are being filed here. In such a situation, it is unlikely that governments should take the risk of opening monuments. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is constantly warning people to be careful. Then the expert also says that the situation may worsen in the coming month. In such a case, the decision to open monuments does not seem appropriate.
Significantly, from July 1, Unlock-2 has been implemented, under which economic activities are being resumed in the country. Under this, it has been decided to open these tourist places and monuments from July 6.
