Lucknow. Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma declared the results of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council i.e. UP Board Examination 2020 at Lok Bhawan on Saturday at 12.35 pm. The results of high school and inter examination students were waiting for a long time. The results of high school and intermediate examination were declared for the first time in Lucknow.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that this time the results of both high school and intermediate have been better than last year. Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the result of high school has been very good since last year. 83.31 percent of the students have passed the high school. The passing percentage of girls is 87.22. The passing percentage of girls is 7.10 percent more than that of boys. Intermediate has passed 74.63 percent students. The intermediate pass percentage was 74.50. The passing percentage of girls is 13 percent more than that of boys.
In high school, Riya Jain daughter Bharat Bhushan topped the intermediate and Anurag Malik son Pramod Malik. Both students are from Shri Ram SN Inter College, Badaut, Baghpat. High school topper Riya Jain got 580 marks out of 600 i.e. 96.67 percent. At the same time, intermediate topper Anurag Malik got 485 marks out of 500 i.e. 97 percent marks.

In high school, Riya Jain of Baghpat got 96 decimal 67 percent marks and got the first place. Barabanki’s Abhimanyu Verma secured 95.83 percent marks. Yogesh Pratap Singh of Barabanki remained at number three, getting 95.33 percent marks. Rhea wants to become state topper Riya
Riya Jain of High School, who is topping the state in UP board examination, wants to become a professor of English subject. Inter topper Anurag’s dream to be an IAS
Anurag Malik of Shri Ram Shiksha Mandir Inter College located at Barout in Baghpat district topped the UP Board Intermediate Examination. Anurag scored 485 out of 500. Anurag told that his dream is to become an IAS in future. He studied for 15 to 16 hours for this examination. Anurag was the district topper in the 10th with 92 per cent marks. Village Silana residents live on Chhaprauli octroi in Baraut with Anurag family. His father Pramod Malik owns an electronics shop. His mother’s name is Parul Jain. Anurag has two brothers. He says that he worked hard throughout the year to achieve the goal. He focused only on studies and achieved the goal he had set.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that this time a total of 51,30,481 candidates appeared in the 10th and 12th examinations. Which included 27,44,976 candidates in 10th and 23,85, 505 candidates in 12. He told that this examination results were better than the previous year. There are 14,90,814 boys and 12,81,842 girls out of the 27,72,656 candidates in the state involved in this examination. Of these, 11,90,888 boys and 11,18,914 girls have passed. The passing percentage of boys is 79.88 and the passing percentage of girls is 87.29. The passing percentage of girls is 7.41 more than the passing percentage of boys.

480591 left the exam
About 56,11,072 students were registered in the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council i.e. UP Board’s High School and Intermediate 2020 examination, out of which 480591 left the examination. In such a result, the result of 51,30,481 candidates will be declared. Students will get mark sheet from schools in three days
Due to Corona crisis, this time students will be given digital mark sheets and certificates this time. High school and intermediate marks and certificates will be downloaded from the website and distributed to students from schools. Digital mark sheet and certificate will be available to the students within three days through the Principal of the schools.

From this year onwards, a bar code will also be given on the marksheet of UP Board. Marksheets can be easily verified online using bar codes.
Fail to disappoint
As such, the failing students need not be disappointed. This time the UP board is going to give them special concessions. The result of a student failing in a subject in high school will pass. If the candidate wishes, he should also pass the examination of the failed subject by giving the examination. With this, he will get a new mark cum certificate and the passing percentage will also increase. Even if he does not appear in this examination, his result is still passed. In high school itself, if a candidate is unsuccessful in two of the six subjects, he / she will be a claimant of compartment examination. That is, if he wants to give the exam in one of the two subjects that fail, and if he passes, he will pass, he will not have to take the whole high school examination again after one year.
Now talk of intermediate examination. If a candidate is unsuccessful in one subject, he / she will pass the compartment examination of the unsuccessful subject and pass the 12th. He will not have to appear for the Inter examination again after one year. In the same way, every high school and inter examiner has the chance to change the category of marks and results by re-evaluating the answer book. In this regard, Board Secretary Nina Srivastava says that there is an effort to do better in the interest of the examinee. Students do not need to be disappointed. They take advantage of available opportunities.
It is known that the UP Board’s high school and inter examinations started on February 18. The high school exam ended on March 3 and the inter exam on March 6. After this the evaluation work started but it was postponed to 18 March. Due to the Corona epidemic, the copies were not being evaluated due to the lockdown. However, on May 5, 20 districts in the Green Zone and on May 12 in the Orange Zone districts and May 19 in the Red Zone 19 districts were re-evaluated. . 92,570 examiners and 54,185 exams for Inter were deployed for evaluation of high school copies. A total of 1,46,755 examiners rated 30961577 copies of high school and inter.
Girls outnumbered boys in 2019
In the last year 2019, 64.40 percent students and 76.46 percent girls were successful in the UP board intermediate examination.

Last year i.e. 12th of 2019, Tanu Tomar of Baghpat topped, while Bhagyashree Upadhyay from Gonda and Allahabad Akanksha Shukla also topped.
