Lucknow. Taking important decisions, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also included married daughter and abandoned daughter in the definition of family for dependent dependent employment. According to the decision taken in the direction of women empowerment, after the death of government servants in service, Rule-2C-3 of the Recruitment Rules-1974 of their dependents has been amended.
Now the family of the deceased government employee includes wife or husband, sons, adopted sons and unmarried daughters and unmarried adopted daughters, widowed daughters and widowed sons, bridegroom with married daughters and abandoned daughters. This decision has been taken as per the directions of the High Court.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, taking another important decision in the interest of women’s protection, has approved the employment of married daughter and abandoned daughter on the deceased dependent quota. Uttar Pradesh did not yet have this system. After this decision of the Chief Minister, the way of getting a government job has been cleared on the dependent quota of married and derelict daughter.
For this, on Tuesday, rule-2 (c) (three) of the Rules-1974 of recruitment of dependents of deceased government servants in UP to include married daughter and abandoned daughter in the definition of family for the job of the deceased dependent. The amendment is allowed. The Chief Minister has taken this decision based on the order of the High Court for the Protection of Women’s Rights.
According to the order of the High Court, it has been allowed to make provision in the Recruitment Rules 1974 of dependents of government servants who died in Uttar Pradesh. Based on this, the wife or husband, sons, adopted sons and unmarried daughters of married government servants, married adopted daughters, widowed daughters and widowed sons of bridegroom along with now married daughters and abandoned daughters will also be related under the family.
