Raipur. The National Investigation Agency has been appointed by the Bharatiya Janata Party to probe the 2013 Jhiram Naxalite attack, while the Chhattisgarh government is prioritizing the SIT probe and accusing the BJP of running away from the probe. Chhattisgarh’s ruling party Congress on Monday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party over Naxal attacks in the state. The BJP rejected the allegations leveled by the Congress and said that the ruling party should trust the NIA.
The Congress said, “Why is the opposition afraid of the SIT investigation in the Jhiram Valley naxal attack in 2013?” The Congress also asked that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in the FIR (FIR) filed last month by Congress leader Uday Mudliyar (Uday Mudliyar), the father of Jitendra Mudliyar, who was killed in the Jhiram Naxal attack. Why are you trying to interfere?
On 25 May 2013, the Congress leader’s convoy was attacked by Naxalites at Congress Parivartan Rally in Jhiram Valley. It killed 29 people, including the then state party chief Nand Kumar Patel, former Opposition leader Mahendra Karma and former union minister Vidyacharan Shukla.
