Lahore Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan has rubbished rumors of his death in a car accident. He said that such reports are fake and baseless. On Sunday, many posts were seen on social media about Irfan’s death. However, the Pakistani bowler denied this on his official Twitter and requested people not to spread fake news.
Irfan wrote on Twitter, “This baseless news is spreading on social media outlets that I have died in a car accident. It has upset my family and friends a lot and I am getting constant calls. Please Stay away from things and no accidents are safe. ”
The 38-year-old fast bowler played his last match for Pakistan against Australia in November last year. He has played four Tests, 60 ODIs and 22 T20 matches for Pakistan so far, taking 109 wickets in total.
Significantly, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tweeted mourning the death of silent deaf cricketer Mohammad Irfan. The PCB had tweeted its condolence message and the fans mistook it for Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan.
