Prayagraj. The Maha Mela Maha Kumbh, which introduced us to Sanatan culture and spirituality, may have ended in February, but the flow of faith in Sangam is still flowing. The demand for the holy and Amrit water of Ganga is increasing not only in the country but also abroad as holy prasad.
Devotees who came to Maha Kumbh from many countries including America, Japan and Australia took Ganga water with them. Devotees who could not come from abroad are demanding the holy water of Triveni. In this sequence, the first consignment of Ganga water has been sent from Prayagraj to Germany.
This water has been sent abroad through Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara. More than 66 crore devotees took a holy dip in Sangam in Maha Kumbh. The state government had decided to deliver the water of Sangam in the form of Maha Prasad to all the districts of the state after the conclusion of Maha Kumbh.
Ganga water was delivered to all 75 districts. Now there is a demand to send Ganga water from Sangam outside the country as well. Deputy Commissioner of National Livelihood Mission Rural Rajiv Kumar Singh said that Ganga water is being supplied by Nari Shakti Mahila Prerna Sankul level committee. Ganga water has been sent from here to Germany in 1000 glass bottles. It was in a 250 ml bottle.
