In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a bride did such a thing, after which the groom filed a complaint against her in the police station. On the wedding night, she gave tea to the groom to drink. She also gave the same tea to the groom’s family. But no one knew what was mixed in the tea. Actually, intoxicants were mixed in it. As soon as the groom drank the tea, he became unconscious. The bride then called her friends to the room.
She fled from there with all the jewellery and 25 thousand rupees in cash from the room. This was revealed when the groom and his family regained consciousness the next day. The matter is of village Basoli of Gonda police station area. The police have started investigation after taking the complaint.
According to the police, Ravi Kumar’s elder brother Gulveer Singh, a resident of village Basoli, was married to Seema Devi of Lakhimpur Kheri on 28 February. Middleman Hariom, a resident of village Palia of Lakhimpur Kheri, had arranged the marriage. Two lakh rupees were also taken for the marriage. After the marriage, Seema was brought to her in-laws’ house in Basoli. On March 1 and 2, rituals like singing and music were performed.
The bride called her friends home
On the night of March 3, Seema called her friends home. During this time, she tricked the family members into drinking intoxicating tea. It is alleged that some medicine was also made them smell. Due to this, the whole family became unconscious. When the family members became unconscious, the bride ran away with her friends. During this, she also took away 25 thousand rupees in cash and gold and silver jewellery kept in the house. When Gulveer Singh regained consciousness after several hours, he did not find his wife in the house.
No trace of the bride was found
Even after a lot of searching, no trace of Seema was found. After this, it was found that the cash and jewellery kept in the house were also missing. Now it did not take them long to understand the whole matter. Immediately a complaint was lodged in the Gonda police station. Police station in-charge Sunil Kumar said that investigation has been started after taking the complaint of the case. The police will soon catch the accused.
