Priyanka was a victim of casting couch: During a chat session at the Forbes Power Women Summit, Priyanka talked about her experience of casting couch. According to her statement, the director wanted her to show her panties so that the audience could see them. Priyanka told that I felt that this was the thing he wanted to show, not her acting and talent.
Director demanded to show panty: Talking about the incident, Priyanka Chopra said, ‘I was talking to the director and I said, ‘Will you talk to my stylist and tell me what kind of design or clothes you want. I was standing next to him when he picked up the phone and said, ‘People will come to the cinema to see her only when she shows her panty. Her skirt should be short so that I can see her panty. People sitting in front should see her panty. He repeated this thing four times. When the director repeated this thing in Hindi, it sounded very dirty’. ‘Desi Girl’ was afraid of career ending: Priyanka shared this incident with her mother Madhu Chopra and said that how should I face a person who is saying such things to me. Priyanka told that I never worked with that director. The actress also told that after her nose surgery, many people refused to give her work, due to which she felt that her career is over now. But she did not give up and now she is proving her talent in Bollywood as well as Hollywood.
