Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun made his presence felt in court through video conferencing in the ‘Pushpa 2’ stampede case. Where the hearing on his bail plea has been postponed till January 10. Now this hearing will be held on December 30. Nampally court is hearing the regular bail plea of actor Allu Arjun. Today the court has postponed the next hearing till December 30. The court had earlier kept the actor in judicial custody for 14 days which was to be completed today.
Lawyer asked for more time
Actually, a 35-year-old woman died in a stampede during the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, while one of her sons was badly injured. Allu Arjun appeared in court today in connection with the investigation of this. During the proceedings, the public prosecutor asked for more time to file a reply, due to which the court had to postpone the debate on the bail plea.
The actor’s legal team informed the court about the interim bail granted to him earlier by the Telangana High Court. Meanwhile, the court also adjourned the hearing on extending Allu Arjun’s judicial custody till January 10. Both the public prosecutor’s reply and the actor’s plea for regular bail are expected to be discussed in the next hearing.

A 35-year-old woman died and her eight-year-old son is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital after a stampede during the benefit show of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. Allu Arjun and the film’s team are being questioned three weeks after the incident.
Recently, Allu Arjun and the Pushpa 2 team had announced a compensation of Rs 2 crore to the family. In which Allu Arjun gave Rs 1 crore, while Maithri Movies and director Sukumar gave Rs 50 lakh each. Film producer and Telangana Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju handed over the compensation to the family.
