Right now 1.75 lakh patients are coming to government hospitals every day. 12 thousand people injured due to road accidents and fire etc. are coming for treatment. Eight thousand patients suffering from serious diseases and five thousand patients are being operated free of cost every day.

Question on 97 posts of malaria unit being vacant in Varanasi
SP’s Ashutosh Sinha raised the question that a total of 127 posts have been sanctioned in the urban malaria unit in Varanasi and out of these 97 posts are vacant. He said that when this is the situation in the Prime Minister’s parliamentary constituency, what will be the situation in other districts?
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that all these are posts of fourth class employees and recruitment has not taken place in them. In such a situation, work is being done through outsourcing and the situation is much better. Dengue and malaria have reduced. JE and AES are now on the verge of elimination.
Ashutosh Sinha said that the posts of insect collector, senior field servant and field servant were changed from fourth to third class in the year 2015. In such a situation, the House is being misled.
