Lucknow. Studies will start in new government nursing colleges in 25 districts of the state from the next session. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered to expedite the construction work of new government nursing colleges in 20 districts. At the same time, approval has also been given for the construction of new government nursing colleges in five districts. With the opening of these 25 new government nursing colleges, students in many small cities will not only be able to study nursing at government fees, but will also contribute to strengthening the health system of the state.
UP CIDCO, C&DS, UPPCL and UPRNNL have been entrusted with the responsibility of building these 25 nursing colleges. Director General Medical Education Kinjal Singh said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is taking necessary steps to strengthen the health system of the state.
The work of providing proper resources to the students for medical and paramedical studies is also being done on a war footing. Under this, CM Yogi has approved the opening of new government nursing colleges in 25 districts of the state, where studies will start from the next academic session. As per the wishes of CM Yogi, construction work of colleges is going on in 20 districts, while approval for construction has been given in five districts.

Work of building nursing colleges is going on in Ayodhya, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur, Siddharthnagar, Fatehpur, Gonda, Sultanpur, Mirzapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Basti, Firozabad, Hardoi, Etah, Amethi, Lalitpur, Bijnor, Kaushambi, Ghazipur, Pratapgarh and Chandauli districts. The five districts in which approval has been given to start new construction work include Deoria, Kanpur Dehat, Sonbhadra, Kushinagar and Pilibhit.
