The police has got a big success in the case of robbery of a bullion trader about two weeks ago in Sultanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, the police arrested four criminals carrying a reward of one lakh each in this case. Along with this, the police also recovered jewelry worth crores from these criminals. The police also recovered ultra-modern weapons from the criminals.
On August 28, there was a stir in Thatheri Bazaar of Nagar Kotwali area when five criminals riding on two bikes carried out the robbery of jewelry and cash worth lakhs at Om Ornament Shop of Bharat Ji Soni. The police had made more than a dozen people accused in this case. According to the police, an accused named Vipin Singh surrendered in the court of Raebareli in another case just two days after the incident.
The police is continuously taking action
On the other hand, five days later i.e. on September 3, Pushpendra Singh, Sachin Singh and Tribhuvan alias Lala Harijan were arrested during an encounter in Godwa village of Nagar Kotwali. On September 5, another accused Mangesh Yadav, who lived in Agarora village of Baksa police station area of Jaunpur, was killed by the STF in an encounter in Mishirpur Puraina village of Dehat Kotwali area. Now on Wednesday, the local police got another big success.
Jewellery worth Rs 2 crore recovered from the accused
In this case, the police arrested the robbers named Durgesh, Arvind, Vivek and Vinay Shukla in the case of robbery in Thatheri Bazaar from Dubeypur turn of Nagar Kotwali. The police recovered gold jewellery worth about two crores, ultra-modern weapons and many other items from them.
Accused Vipin Singh surrendered in Rae Bareli court, after which Sultanpur police took him on 5-day remand. According to the police, these miscreants were arrested on the information given by Vipin Singh. Bullion trader Bharat ji Soni, who was a victim of this incident of the police, seems satisfied. He says that the jewellery recovered by the police belongs to his shop. The victim is confident that the police will soon recover the remaining jewellery as well.
