Legal action is being taken against the madrasa in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, for printing fake notes in it. On Thursday, the police in Prayagraj raided the Atrasuiya area and exposed the fake note printing factory running in an unrecognized madrasa. After the police exposed the fake notes being printed in the madrasa, the District Minority Welfare Department has written a letter to the Assistant Registrar Society to cancel the registration of this unrecognized madrasa in the Chit Fund Society.
After the fake currency making factory was caught in the Atrasuiya area of Prayag, the Minority Welfare Department has also come into action. District Minority Welfare Officer Krishna Murari said that a letter has been sent to the Assistant Registrar Firms Societies and Chits to take action against the madrasa caught for making fake currency while doing anti-national activities in an unrecognized madrasa and cancelling the registration of the madrasa and sending a letter to the management committee to take action for cancellation.
What is said in the letter?
In the letter sent by the District Minority Welfare Officer, it has been said that the registration and management committee of Madrasa Jamia Habibia’s society Anjuman Jania Habibia Prayagraj should be cancelled, so that the activities of the madrasa doing illegal work cannot be carried out further. In the letter sent by District Minority Welfare Officer Krishna Murari, it has also been told that the unrecognized madrasa was running in Atrasuiya area of Prayagraj for decades.
Fake notes were being printed in a room in the premises of Madrasa Jamia Habibia Mosque, after which the police raided and caught four accused with a bundle of fake notes printed there. The police has taken legal action against them and sent them to jail. In this connection, a letter has been sent to the Assistant Registrar to take action to cancel the registration of the madrasa.
Continuous monitoring will be done
District Minority Welfare Officer Krishna Murari also said that after the arrest of the Maulvi of this madrasa and others caught on the charge of printing fake notes, continuous monitoring will be done by the District Minority Welfare Department. He told that the kind of anti-national activities in which the premises were used by the Maulvi of the madrasa and the work of printing fake notes and circulating them in the market has been done. After that, now this illegal madrasa will be continuously monitored by the department.
This will keep getting information about the legal and illegal activities happening there. He told that there are 204 recognized madrasas in Prayagraj district, while there are 72 such madrasas which have not got recognition and they are not getting any kind of government help. This madrasa of Atrasuiya area is also included in those 72 non-recognized madrasas. This madrasa, which prints fake notes, does not take any kind of help from the District Minority Welfare Department, due to which his department cannot take any direct action. For this reason, a letter has been sent by the department to the Assistant Registrar to cancel the registration of the madrasa.
