Ghazipur. Police has arrested four liquor smugglers in the case of murdering two RPF jawans posted at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay railway station a week ago and throwing their bodies on the side of Delhi-Howrah railway line in Bakaniya of Gahmar area.
During the police encounter while recovering the purses and mobiles of the jawans at the spot, the main accused pushed Sub Inspector Suresh Maurya and snatched his official pistol and started running away. During this, he got injured in police firing by getting shot in the leg.
What is the whole case?
On the night of 19-20 August, RPF jawans posted at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay railway station, Mohammad Javed, resident of Devaitha of Dildar Nagar police station and Pramod Kumar, resident of Karaka of Karari police station of Ara Bhojpur district of Bihar were going to Mokama Training Center by Barmer-Guwahati Express.
Just a few hours after boarding the train, they were brutally murdered and their bodies were thrown on the up and down line at a distance of eight hundred meters near Bakaniya village on Delhi-Kolkata main railway route. One of the bodies was completely naked. There was only a sock on the foot. Both had injury marks on their head, back, elbow.
GRP PDDU was also involved in the investigation of the murder case along with the district police. After a lot of efforts, the police took the help of Noida STF when they did not get success. The police engaged in the investigation of the murder case arrested four people including the main liquor smuggler Premchand from different places of Bihar involved in the incident.
During interrogation, it was found that on the day of the incident, the smugglers loaded liquor in B-3 of the AC coach by chain pulling. RPF jawan Javed protested against this. After this, the smugglers killed both the jawans and threw the body in Bakaniya near the railway track. On Monday night, the police took Premchand to the spot to recover the mobiles and other belongings of both the jawans.
It is alleged that liquor smuggler Premchand started firing with the pistol of sub-inspector Suresh Maurya. In retaliation, he was injured by a police bullet. He was treated at Bhadaura CHC.
