The incidents of molestation of women and girls are not stopping in Uttar Pradesh. The miscreants molest the girls and women in public. Here a bus driver not only molested a female passenger. But, he also tried to fill her demand by cutting his wrist.
When the female passenger protested against this, the driver beat her up. The woman informed her family about this. The family members then beat up the bus driver badly. Meanwhile, someone informed the police about this. The police reached the spot and somehow got the driver released and took him to the police station. The accused driver is being questioned.
According to the information, a woman living in a locality on Meenakshi Road has been travelling in the bus going from Pakka Bagh Chauraha to Noida for about a year. The woman alleges that bus driver Sunny was harassing her for a long time. On Saturday night around 8 o’clock, the driver molested the woman near Pakka Bagh crossing while returning from Noida.
The girl’s family members beat him up
The accused also tried to fill the woman’s demand with blood by cutting his wrist. When the woman protested, the driver beat her up. The distressed woman informed her family about this. The angry family members reached outside Gandhi Ganj and beat up the bus driver Sunny. They also broke the glass of the bus. There was chaos when the ruckus broke out. Someone told the police that some people were beating the driver here.
Meanwhile, CO City Varun Mishra and Kotwali police also reached the spot. The police somehow rescued the driver Sunny from the people and took him into custody. The police say that the matter is being investigated. Strict action will be taken against the accused.
