Dhani. In Dhani Bazar of Brijmanganj police station area of Maharajganj district, a man brutally murdered his wife and son by chopping them with an axe late on Saturday night. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot in the morning.
When people came to know about this incident on Sunday afternoon, there was an uproar. Police have taken both the bodies into custody and are searching for the accused. According to local people, Shashi Bhushan was mentally disturbed for some days. Prima facie, family dispute is being considered the reason for the incident.
Family stunned to see blood stains at many places in the house
Shashi Bhushan Mishra, a resident of Dhani Bazar, lived on the first floor of the ancestral house with his wife Vijayalakshmi and son Shaurya. Father retired teacher Rajendranath Mishra lives in the adjacent house with his family and another son. When Shashi Bhushan Mishra, his wife and child were not seen till Sunday afternoon, the family reached the first floor. They were stunned to see blood stains at many places there.
Mother and child’s bodies found soaked in blood
40-year-old Vijayalakshmi and eight-year-old Shaurya’s bodies were found soaked in blood in the room. As soon as the news of the murder of mother and son reached the village, there was chaos. A large number of people reached the spot.
Forensic team collected samples from the room
The forensic team that arrived with SHO Shyamsundar Tiwari also collected samples from the room. Police has also recovered the axe used in the incident from the spot. Superintendent of Police Somendra Meena and Additional Superintendent of Police Aatish Kumar Singh also gave guidelines to arrest the accused and expose the incident soon.
The Superintendent of Police said that a case has been registered against the accused and the matter is being investigated. A team has been formed for his arrest, the incident will be exposed soon.
