The district administration has become alert in the case of repeated snake bites on 24-year-old Vikas in Fatehpur, UP. A team of two to three doctors has been formed under the leadership of CMO, which will investigate and submit its report within 48 hours. Actually, Vikas has been bitten by a snake 7 times within 40 days. This time his condition became critical. He was treated in a private hospital. However, he has reached home now.
Now a statement has come from Fatehpur CMO Dr. Rajiv Nayan Giri regarding this incident. He said that this matter has come to my notice. I was sitting in the DM office yesterday, the meeting was going on, then those people (victim) had given an application to DM sahab. It was told in it that the snake has bitten the youth 5 to 6 times. Now perhaps the snake has bitten him for the seventh time. Every time it used to bite on Saturday-Sunday, this time it bit earlier. Currently, the treatment of the victim is going on. According to the CMO, the victim’s family told that they go to the same private hospital every time they get bitten by a snake. It is also being investigated why the treatment is done in the same hospital. At least we should know what kind of treatment is being done there. Because, repeated use of antivenom medicine can also have side effects.
At present, a medical board has been formed. The investigation report will come in two-three days. By the way, antivenom injection is available in sufficient quantity in all the hospitals of our district. Our team will go to that hospital and will also meet the patient. The team will see there how many bites are there on the body of the youth. Seven snake bites mean that there will be seven marks.
At the same time, Fatehpur DFO Ramanuj Tripathi said that information was received that a snake has bitten a single person seven times. But it could not be made clear whether the same snake has bitten or different snakes. Efforts are being made to catch the snake and rescue it and leave it in the zoo. Let us tell you that 24-year-old Vikas, who is suffering from snakebite, is a resident of Soura village of Malwa police station area, who has been bitten by a snake for the seventh time in 40 days. The snake is after him so much that when he runs to his aunt and uncle’s house, the snake bites him. Thankfully, he recovered after treatment every time. But after the seventh snake attack, his condition is critical. The family is very upset and scared of this unimaginable incident. They have appealed to the government for help.
