Two incidents of ATM robbery in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh created a stir in the police department. Here in one night, the robbers tried to rob two different SBI ATM machines. For robbery, the miscreants uprooted both the machines. The accused ran away with one machine, but in the second incident, after uprooting the machine, the accused made a mistake. Due to this, the accused left the ATM there and ran away. At present, the police team is also investigating the matter. Police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
The robbers carried out the first incident of uprooting the ATM in village Gauriya Prahladpur located on Laharpur Tambaur road in Laharpur Kotwali area. Here an ATM of SBI i.e. State Bank of India branch was installed. The robbers uprooted this ATM on Saturday night and took it with them in a vehicle. Police say that there was about 15 lakh cash in this ATM.
Mistake was made
Police said that the second incident of ATM robbery took place in Sadarpur police station area. Here the robbers uprooted an SBI ATM machine. After this, when the robbers were taking the ATM machine with them, they made a big mistake. While taking out the ATM machine, the glass of the cabin door broke. After this, there was a commotion at the spot. The robbers, frightened by this, left the ATM machine there and ran away.
People informed the police
In the morning, when the local people saw that the ATM machine was lying outside, they called the police and informed them about the matter. At the same time, as soon as the information was received, there was a stir in the police department. The police team reached the spot. On reaching the spot, the police saw that the CCTV cameras were broken. The police say that the accused will be caught soon.
