Prayagraj. Inspector Rankendra Singh (56), who came on duty in the court, died. He was posted at Dhoomanganj police station. On Wednesday, he came to the court on duty. Here suddenly he fainted and fell. He was rushed to Bailey Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Originally a resident of Uldan village of Uldan police station area of Jhansi, Rankendra Singh joined the police department in the year 1987. Some time ago he was promoted to the post of sub-inspector. He was posted at Dhoomanganj police station since 19 January 2023. These days his duty was going on in court security.
The inspector who came on duty suddenly fainted and fell
On Wednesday, the inspector who came to the court from the police station for duty suddenly fainted and fell at around nine in the morning. He was rushed to Bailey Hospital. Doctors declared him dead in the hospital.
The inspector lived with his family in Jhunsi. After getting information about the incident, the family members reached there. It is suspected that he died due to heat stroke. At present, the exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.
