The human trafficking gang took two youths from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, and one youth from Barabanki district to Myanmar via Thailand and Bangkok in the name of getting jobs abroad, whereas they were told to get jobs in Malaysia. In Myanmar, these people are being made to work for 18 to 20 hours related to cyber fraud and are being beaten up if they protest. These people have made three videos and sent them to their families, in which they have demanded the Government of India to release them as soon as possible.
The family members of Sagar, a young man who has done civil engineering, have also filed a case against him in the Human Trafficking Cell in Lucknow. This young man is being held hostage and tortured for protesting. His friends say that if this continues then they will not be able to survive for long. The human trafficking gang has taken up to Rs 8.15 lakh from the family of the Lucknow youth in exchange for their release, but has not released them yet.
Transported from Lucknow to Myanmar via Hyderabad, Delhi
Sagar’s mother says that the agent there had got the tickets for the three boys to Myanmar. The agent’s name is Robin. He had said that they would be sent from here to Malaysia, due to which these people got influenced by his words. These people have been transported from Lucknow to Myanmar via Hyderabad, Delhi, Thailand and Bangkok. All three are being held hostage at gunpoint and are being made to do work related to cyber fraud. People are being beaten for protesting.
Ajay Kumar of Barabanki, who released the video, said that his friend Sagar, a resident of Lucknow, is being locked in a separate room and beaten. His bed is empty. Haven’t been able to meet him for many days. If something like that happens to me, I will die soon due to illness. Ajay Kumar told that he had left for Malaysia with his friend Pankaj on 26 March 2024 for a job.
To prevent sleep, water is poured
Reached here from Lucknow via Hyderabad and from there via Bangkok. In Thailand we were stopped in a hotel, from where we were taken to Myanmar in a cab. The dealer is involved in this, who has sold us to some other company. Ajay told that along with beating us, they are keeping us locked in darkness. Mouths watering when it comes to gold. There is an appeal to the Government of India to save people’s lives.
Ajay told that cyber fraud work is being done here. A game of skimming is going on through data entry. About 500 boys and girls from four countries of India and other countries are imprisoned here.

Sagar, brother of Joginder Singh, resident of Aadhar Kheda, Kursi Road, Lucknow, has also become a victim of human trafficking in the name of job. 8.14 lakh rupees given in return for releasing brother
However, instead of taking him to Malaysia, the dealer took him to Myanmar. Sagar’s brother Joginder came to know about this through phone conversation and his message, in which Sagar wrote, “These people are very dangerous and have held me hostage along with everyone else.” Sagar’s Bai Joginder Singh told that two boys named Rahul and Ajay have also posted videos from there. Due to this, I have sent Rs 8.14 lakh to Robin associated with human trafficking, but they have not released anyone yet. We are very worried about the ocean.
