A major accident took place today in Deoria, UP. Here two miscreant youths riding a bike threw acid on two girls going on a bicycle, due to which the face of one girl got burnt and the arms of the other got burnt. The bike riding miscreants fled from the spot after committing the incident. Both the girls are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Two girls were going on bicycle on Devgaon Hata Road in Gauribazar police station area of Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Then, on the way, two bike riding miscreants threw acid on these two girls. After committing the incident, both these miscreants fled from the spot. One of these two girls works in a private hospital. In this acid attack, the face of one person and the arms of the other got burnt. Both these girls are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Crying condition of family members is bad
As soon as information about the incident was received, Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma also reached the spot. At present the police has started investigation regarding this incident. According to the information, two girls were traveling on different bicycles. The people nearby admitted these two girls to the hospital and they are undergoing treatment. There is an atmosphere of panic in the homes of girls due to the acid attack incident. The family members are in bad condition due to crying.
Miscreants injured in encounter
In the encounter between the miscreants and the police, both the miscreants were shot in their legs. According to the information, the miscreants have been seriously injured. This encounter took place near Kalvan village of Gauribazar police station area of the district. These injured miscreants are being treated at Maharishi Devraha Baba Medical College, Deoria. Police force is deployed at the spot. At present the reasons for the attack have not been known yet.

Regarding the incident, SP Deoria said that an acid attack incident took place in the Gauribazar police station area of Deoria district at around 11 am today. A case has been registered against the complaint lodged by the victim. A police team was formed to arrest the officers. A blockade was imposed by the police regarding this incident. These criminals were coming there on motorcycles and an attempt was made to arrest them. These people fired at the police, in which two criminals were shot in the legs in retaliatory firing by the police. His treatment is going on in the district hospital.
