In this connection, the police attached the hospital property worth Rs 35 crore 5 lakh registered in the name of Harishankar Mishra, son-in-law of former MLA Vijay Mishra, in Allahpur, Prayagraj. The police of Gyanpur police station, which reached Prayagraj from Bhadohi, took this action under Gangster Act 14 (1). According to the police, this hospital, costing Rs 35 crore, was bought by former powerful Gyanpur MLA Vijay Mishra in the name of his son-in-law Harishankar Mishra with the property acquired from crime. This building located in Allapur of Prayagraj city was included in the name of old Saket Hospital. Vijay Mishra is currently in jail. Various criminal cases are registered against him in many districts of UP including Bhadohi and Prayagraj.
Crackdown on Vijay Mishra’s properties in Prayagraj
Bhadohi police took this action under the Gangster Act. Bhadohi police reached Allapur with a large force and confiscated this property worth crores of mafia Vijay Mishra. An announcement was also made. Before this, properties worth crores of many close to the mafia as well as daughter Seema Mishra and nephew former block chief Manish Mishra have also been attached. All these properties are in different areas of Prayagraj city. According to the police, all this mafia property has been acquired from the money made from criminal activities.
Vijay Mishra’s property worth Rs 75 crores confiscated till now
Police did this on the orders of Bhadohi DM. Vijay Mishra’s assets worth more than Rs 75 crore have been confiscated so far. Earlier in Prayagraj, the police had seized property worth more than Rs 17 crore 30 lakh of Vijay Mishra, acquired through crime, in Allapur area.
