Women’s Premier League (WPL 2024) got the second finalist in the form of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The team won a place in the title match by defeating defending champions Mumbai Indians in the eliminator match. Be it IPL or WPL, RCB is the most liked team. RCB has the largest fanbase without winning any trophy. Now, seeing the RCB women’s team reach the finals, the fans felt extremely happy.

The video going viral is being said to be of Delhi Metro. It can be seen in the video that many people present in the metro are seen raising slogans of ‘RCB-RCB’ in a loud voice. Apart from ‘RCB-RCB’, slogans were also heard in the name of the team’s star all-rounder ‘Alice Perry’ in the video.
Made it to the finals by defending a low total
In the eliminator match played against Mumbai, RCB defended a low total and won by 5 runs. Batting first in the match, RCB had put 135/6 runs on the board in 20 overs, which looked very less in terms of victory. Alice Perry played a brilliant innings for the team and scored 66 runs in 50 balls with the help of 8 fours and 1 six.
Then Mumbai Indians, who came to chase the target, appeared to be moving towards victory very easily. At one time, RCB fans had given up hope that their team would be able to win the match and reach the finals. But at 120 runs in the 18th over, Mumbai lost the fourth wicket in the form of captain Harmanpreet Kaur and from there the match turned upside down. After the fall of the opposing captain’s wicket, RCB’s grip on the match became stronger and then the team did not look back. In bowling, Shreyanka Patil took maximum 2 wickets for RCB. Shreyanka had also sent Harmanpreet Kaur to the pavilion.
