Lucknow. Students once again started protesting on Friday alleging paper leak in the constable recruitment examination in UP. The candidates protesting in Lucknow’s Eco Garden are demanding re-examination. In view of the situation, a large number of police forces and PAC have been deployed.
Police Recruitment Board asked candidates for proof of paper leak
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has sought evidence from the candidates regarding the leaking of question papers of the written examination conducted for recruitment to 60,244 posts of constable. According to the officials of the Recruitment Board, the candidates can send their representation along with the proofs and evidence available with them in this regard to the Board through e-mail by 6 pm on Friday. After examining the representations sent on the email ID of the Recruitment Board, further action will be taken in the interest of the candidates.
According to the information released by the board, information regarding some question papers is going viral on various social media platforms regarding the written examination of constable recruitment held in four shifts on 17th and 18th February. News was also published in newspapers. Candidates are submitting representations regarding this in various districts.
The Board says that if the candidates and other people want to submit any representation in this regard, then email their representation to the Board along with relevant proofs, in which their name, address, mobile number and Aadhaar number should be mentioned. An internal inquiry committee has also been constituted under the chairmanship of ADG/Member Secretary, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, to investigate the claims of question paper leak and other errors in the written examination.
