Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya in the Assembly on Wednesday. He also pointed towards the temple-mosque dispute in Kashi and Mathura. Within a month of the consecration of the statue of child Ram in Ayodhya, Yogi has talked about Mathura and Kashi.
Yogi Adityanath said, “It is my good fortune and that of my government that we made Ayodhya Deepotsav possible, which became a national festival. The city of Ayodhya was brought under the purview of prohibition and curfew by previous governments. Ayodhya was cursed with ill-will for centuries. It was cursed with deliberate intentions. It faced systematic contempt. Such treatment of public sentiments was perhaps not seen anywhere else. Ayodhya faced injustice.”
A long legal battle was fought over the Ram Janmabhoomi land in Ayodhya. After the historic decision of the Supreme Court in the year 2019, it was handed over for the construction of the temple. The Krishna Janmabhoomi site in Mathura and the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex in Varanasi are two other disputed lands claimed by Hindus.
Reference was made to Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s ‘Rashmirathi’
Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday, “When I speak about injustice, we remember something 5,000 years old. At that time, injustice was done to the Pandavas also. The same happened with Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura. ”
Citing Ramdhari Singh Dinkar’s ‘Rashmirathi’, Yogi Adityanath said, “At that time Lord Krishna had gone to the Kauravas and said that give us only five villages, keep as much land as you have. We will happily eat there. .”
At that time Krishna had asked for five villages. Krishna had gone for compromise. He asked for justice, even if half. Citing Dinkar’s ‘Rashmirathi’, the Chief Minister said, “Even Duryodhan could not give, he could not take the blessings of the society. On the contrary, he tied Hari and started to practice what was incurable.”
We are talking about only three – Yogi
Referring to the places of Ayodhya, Mathura and Varanasi, Yogi Adityanath said that the society here and its faith had been talking about only three for hundreds of years. “Those are three special places,” he said. They are not normal places. They are the places of incarnation of God. If Ayodhya is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Rama, then Mathura is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. “Gyanvapi Sthal in Varanasi is considered one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.”
Vote bank politics causes controversy – Yogi
The Chief Minister said, “But there is political stubbornness and vote bank politics and that is why disputes arise.” “We had asked for only three places, there was no dispute on the remaining places.” Talking about the latest court order, Yogi Adityanath said, Hindus have got permission to offer prayers in Vyasji’s basement, one of the sealed cellars at the Gyanvapi site. After seeing the people celebrating in Ayodhya, Nandi Baba said, “Why should we wait.”
