Grant Bradburn has left the Pakistan Cricket Board just before the T20 series against New Zealand. He was the high-performance coach of Pakistan. On different occasions in the last one year, he was also handling the responsibility of head coach for Pakistan cricket team in the absence of Mickey Arthur.
Bradburn was associated with Pakistan Cricket Board since 2018. He played the role of assistant coach of Pakistan team from 2018 to 2020. After this, in 2020 he was made the head of High Performance Coaching. Last year, he became the coach of Pakistan team in place of Saqlain Mushtaq. He also did a test tour of New Zealand and Sri Lanka as head coach. He also came to India with the Pakistani team for the ODI World Cup. He worked with Millie Arthur, the then director of the Pakistani team.
After Pakistan’s early exit from the World Cup 2023, there was a reshuffle in the coaching positions but both Bradburn and Arthur were not formally removed from the post. However, both of them did not tour Australia with the Pakistani team. Here Mohammad Hafeez was the director of the team. However, now Grant has parted ways with PCB after working for 5 years. He gave this information through social media post.
