For the last two days, there is a flood of devotees at Banke Bihar Temple in Vrindavan, Madhura. Lakhs of devotees are reaching Mathura for darshan. Meanwhile, a sad news has come to light. Two women died due to ill health, at a short distance from Thakur Banke Bihari Temple in Mathura. It is being told that both the women were standing in the queue to have darshan of Banke Bihari. At present the reason for the death of women is not clear.
Both the female devotees died at different places. When the health of both the female devotees deteriorated, they were admitted to different hospitals. The women have been identified as Beena Gupta, 70 years old, resident of Sitapur and Manju Mishra, 50 years old, resident of Jabalpur.
When we talked to the family members of the deceased Bina Gupta, her brother-in-law Jamuna Prasad, while giving information on phone, said that Bina Gupta had come to Vrindavan for her daughter’s wedding and was also standing in the queue at the temple to go to the Thakur Banke Bihari temple. There his health suddenly deteriorated due to which he was taken to the hospital. Doctors declared him dead in the hospital.
Whereas Manju Mishra Thakur was going to visit Banke Bihari, her health suddenly deteriorated and after her health deteriorated, the police hurriedly admitted her to Ramakrishna Mission Seva Ashram Hospital in Vrindavan but she too could not be saved.
Giving more information about this, Mathura SSP Shailendra Kumar Pandey said that the death of two female devotees near Thakur Banke Bihari Temple has come to light on social media platforms. He told that both the women were far away from the council of Thakur Banke Bihari Temple.
The death of both the women is said to be due to illness. The SSP has appealed to the public through a video not to bring small children, elderly or sick people with them for darshan on the occasion of New Year. Also, follow the guidelines to avoid Covid-19.
