Lucknow. Amidst the ongoing discussions about cabinet expansion for quite some time, SubhaSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar along with his son Arvind Rajbhar met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday. After the meeting, he once again said that whenever the cabinet is expanded, I will become a minister. They hope that better days will come soon. Now on December 30, Rajbhar will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. After this the date of cabinet expansion is expected to be decided.
SubhaSP, which fought along with SP in the 2022 assembly elections, has again joined the NDA this year. The discussion of making OP Rajbhar a minister again in the cabinet expansion has been going on for a long time. On many occasions, Rajbhar himself has claimed that whenever there is expansion, he will be made a minister. At present, Rajbhar is continuously meeting BJP leaders. Sometimes he is meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sometimes Home Minister Amit Shah and sometimes BJP National President JP Nadda. Continuous meetings are also being held with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak in the state.
CM Yogi met at 5 Kalidas Marg
On Friday also, Rajbhar met the Chief Minister at his residence at 5 Kalidas Marg. He described it as a courtesy call and also said that during this time he has requested to immediately send the proposal to the Government of India for listing the Bhar/Rajbhar caste as a Scheduled Tribe. He told that he also discussed with the Chief Minister the problem of Ranveer Nagar, a village of Banjara caste with a population of about 2500 in Saifai, Etawah.
Arun Rajbhar expressed hope of cabinet expansion soon
Party spokesperson Arun Rajbhar said that a survey of 17 districts was conducted to include Bhar, Rajbhar caste in ST, the report of which has reached the government. The Chief Minister assured that the report will soon be submitted to the Central Government. He has also expressed hope of cabinet expansion soon.
