Prayagraj. Mafia Atiq’s financier Nafees Biryani, detained in Naini Central Jail, suffered a heart attack on Sunday afternoon. When his condition became critical, the jail administration admitted him to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital. Police have also been deployed for the security of prisoner Nafees.
Nafees, a resident of Gaadiwan Tola of Khuldabad, used to run a restaurant in the name of Eaton Biryani in Civil Lines. Nafees’ car was used by the shooters involved in the murder of Umesh Pal and his two government security personnel.
When reward was announced, he ran away to Delhi
Nafees had absconded after his name was raised in the murder case. When a reward of Rs 50,000 was announced on his arrest, he fled to Delhi. While coming from there to Prayagraj via Lucknow, there was an encounter with the police in Nawabganj, in which Nafees was injured by a bullet. After undergoing treatment for several days, he was admitted to jail. Was lodged in circle number three of the Central Jail.
Swarooprani Nehru Hospital Refer
It is reported that Nafees suddenly had trouble breathing on Sunday afternoon, after which he was taken to the jail hospital. After examination by doctors, he was referred to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital.
Principal of Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Dr. SP Singh says that Nafees’ condition is critical. Heart attack has occurred. There is also a problem with the kidneys. Three senior cardiologists have been appointed.
